Bukidnon Provincial Government launches TABUK EAP, provides financial aid to NBSC students

Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – The Provincial Government of Bukidnon visited Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) on May 11, 2023, to implement the TABUK Educational Assistance Program (TABUK EAP). The program is an initiative of Gov. Rogelio Neil P. Roque that aims to provide financial assistance to students in Bukidnon.

Ms. Ellen T. Saluminta, the Department Head of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), led the team comprised of representatives from the Provincial Governor’s Office (PGO), PSWDO, and Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO).

The NBSC President, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, along with the NBSC Admission and Scholarship Office Director, Ms. Rahbie Adaptar-Teologo, and the NBSC Student Affairs and Services Director, Ms. Rowena E. Bagongon, warmly welcomed the visiting team from the Bukidnon Provincial Government. The college officials expressed their appreciation for the program that provided financial assistance to 316 NBSC students, including both graduating and prospective fourth-year students.

The TABUK EAP was a great success, providing much-needed financial support to students in Bukidnon, including those from NBSC. This program is a testament to the Bukidnon Provincial Government’s commitment to supporting the education of its constituents and creating more opportunities for their future.
